Political struggles worth it for Zimbabwean politician
Zimbabwean politician and trade unionist Lucia Matibenga has experienced discrimination and violence at the hands of male politicians from both her own political party and the ruling party. Matibenga recounts how the personal intra-party squabbles forced her to engage with the media while at the same time picking up vital political survival skills where men dominate and often resort to setting women against each other and violence to gain a political upperhand.
